- Keeping the workspace, tools, and equipment sanitized and clean to meet health
- Butchers monitor and manage inventory
- They grind meat and may also marinate or season cuts based on customer preferences
- Butchers arrange and display meat products attractively
- Regularly maintaining and sharpening knives and other cutting tools
- Butchers follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- They ensure meat is correctly labeled with prices
