Duties to perform:
The selected candidate is supposed to perform the following duties:
- Prepare soil and plant seeds, cuttings, or young plants in pots or beds.
- Regularly water plants using hoses, irrigation systems, or watering cans.
- Remove weeds and trim plants to maintain their health and appearance.
- Apply fertilizers and nutrients to promote plant growth.
- Identify and address pests or diseases using safe methods.
- Transfer plants to larger pots or outdoor beds as they grow.
- Clean and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
- Arrange plants for display or storage and label them appropriately.
- Help customers select plants and provide care advice when required.
- Track plant growth, inventory levels, and sales data.
