Job Requirements: 

The candidate is required to have the following things: 

1. NZQA Carpentry qualification
2. 5+ years building experience

Duties to perform: 

The selected candidate is supposed to perform the following duties: 

1. Measure wood and other materials accurately and cut them as needed.
2. Understand and follow building plans or drawings.
3. Build doors, windows, furniture, and wooden frameworks.
4. Fix broken furniture, doors, floors, and other wooden structures.
5. Set up cabinets, shelves, and wooden panels in homes and offices.
6. Sand and polish wood to give it a smooth finish.
7. Operate saws, drills, hammers, and other woodworking tools safely
8. Follow safety rules and wear protective gear while working
9. Calculate the amount of wood and supplies needed for a project.
