Duties to perform:
The selected candidate is supposed to perform the following duties:
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce
- Operate and maintain farm machinery
- Participate in the harvesting of crops according to specific guidelines
- Conduct visual inspections of harvested crops to assess quality
- Handle harvested crops with care to prevent damage and bruisingAssist in loading harvested crops onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the harvest area
- Operate harvesting equipment such as tractors, harvesters, or hand tools under supervision
- Monitor crop health and report any signs of pests, disease, or other issues
- Work collaboratively with other farm workers
- Maintain accurate records of harvested crops, including quantities harvested, dates, and locations
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
